Description
1 Scope
1.1 This Standard covers hydronic radiators intended for use in residential and commercial applications and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.
1.1.2 Hydronic radiators covered by this standard include but are not limited to manifold, finned tube, floor mounted, wall mounted, bench, panel and towel warming.
Note: The surface temperature of Hydronic radiators including towel warmers are controlled through the design and safety features incorporated in a hydronic heating system not through design of the hydronic convector and radiator.
