Description
1 Scope
1.1 This Standard covers specialized fittings made of ABS or PVC intended for DWV applications and specifies requirements for materials, dimensions and other physical characteristics, and markings.
1.2 This Standard covers the following specialized DWV fittings:
(a) water closet flanges with 45º outlets;
(b) water closet flanges with swivel rings and 45º outlets;
(c) water closet flanges with 38 mm (1.5 in) shifted outlets;
(d) flush water closet flanges with or without elastomeric seals;
(e) extended water closet flange couplings;
(f) dishwasher wyes;
(g) nominal 3 × 2 double wyes for horizontal branches;
(h) extended couplings;
(i) short pattern elbows;
(j) stack vents; and
(k) base vents.
